Due Dates to File GSTR 3B

The due date to file GSTR 3B for taxpayers not registered under the QRMP Scheme is the 20th of each month. When the due date has elapsed, late fees and interest on the tax payable are applicable.

Taxpayers who are registered under the QRMP Scheme are to file the return on the 22nd/24th of each month. Though for the QRMP taxpayers, it is a quarterly return, the payment is to be made each month on the pre-determined dates.

22nd of each month in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Lakshadweep, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh

24th of each month in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Odisha

Late Fees and Interest for GSTR 3B

Every taxpayer, whether having sales and purchases in a month or not, has to file. In case you have paid the outstanding tax but not filed the return yet and missed the due date, you have to bear the late fee and interest chargeable.
